One Finger Closer to Full Cyborg!

usb-prosthetic-fingerIf you’ve ever thought how great it might be to be half-robot, or even a complete cyborg, then you’ll be impressed by the initiave of Jerry Jalava, who lost a finger a year ago in a motorcycle accident.  Jerry apparently was not satisfied with a normal prosthetic replacement finger.  Instead, he modified his new finger to incorporate a USB “thumb” drive, allowing him to take his geekness to new levels of weird.  And awesome.

It can also be a big problem for those of us who want to stay connected abroad using our laptops and cellphones. Every country seems to want to use different outlet plugs, and much of the world outside of the US uses either 110 or 220 volts.
